Are illustrated books always meant to be children's stories ?
It seems to have been truly hard to find books targetting adult audience without violence.
I like that books don't always need to show a broken character struggling with obstacles, but rather express some comfort, maybe wisdom and a sense of hope. I've been longing to read something that would show characters finding peace of mind together, demonstrating the most empathetic acts, but still depicting the complexity of life.
I thought that if I couldn't find easely such a book, that meant I had to create it.
